Costs

Accommodation and meals will be 100% covered by the programme.

Travel costs will be covered as follows;
Estonia – up to €360,00
Greece – up to €180,00
Italy – up to €275,00
Sweden – up to €360,00

A fee of €30 per participant is required to attend this training course.

Bringing the right clothes il_fullxfull.532269160_7pf4 The project provides for different kind of activities, but many of them will involve physical exercise. So, bring clothes in which you feel comfortable. Also, there will definitely be outdoor activities and possibly some sportive sessions. For that reason, don’t forget the necessary clothes and shoes. The climate in Skoulikaria in May can vary greatly. Thus, you are invited to bring both summer and winter clothes. Most probably you will need t-shirts and shorts as much as a winter coat.

Put in your handbag the most important stuff 

552In order to avoid serious problems related to loss of bags during your travel, we kindly suggest you to put in your handbag all the important stuff, especially medicine you need, important documents or anything you can’t do without. In case of a lost bag, please, ask the authorities to send your luggage to the following address:

TRANSPORT FROM THE AIRPORT TO SKOULIKARIA

The closest airport to the venue is the Ioannina International Airport. However you can also fly to either Athens “Eleftherios Venizelos” International Airport or to Thessaloniki International Airport.
Appointment will be on 6th of May 2015 at Arta bus station. Detailed instructions on how to get to Arta will be given to each participant depending on arrival airport and time (bus or private transfer if public means transport are not available). INTER ALIA staff will pick up participants directly at the bus station.
Please remember to keep all boarding passes and any kind of receipts and/or tickets From the city of Arta to the accommodation center. We will pick you up at the bus station and take you to the hostel. It is very important for us to know your arrival time in advance in advance in order to organize the transfer from the city center to the Hotel. In case of delay of your flight or bus, please call us or send an SMS to the coordinator.

ACCOMODATION AND MEETING LOCATION

hotel-hi1 The TC will take place in Skoulikaria, a small and remote village situated 36 klm from the city of Arta, the nearby city. The altitude is about 950-1000 meters and the population not more than 350 people. Accommodation will be done in shared rooms of 3 or four persons and it is not possible to have an individual room.  Participants will stay at the “Hotel Gavrogos” a small but comfortable and tasteful facility in the mountains of Arta that has been rented for the project. Indoors activities will take place in the hotel lounge.

1218784895192777147geant_Pictogramme_Camping.svg.med  For the more adventurous ones, there is the possibility of spending the night in a tent in the nearby field that is owned by one of the organizers, provided that the participants have brought along their own equipment and have taken necessary measures for their own safety.

Meals

imagesBreakfast, lunch and dinner will be provided by Inter Alia (except in cases of free time), taking into consideration the special food needs described in the participants form, so in case you have any other need in terms of diet please let us know as soon as possible by mail!

accepted atm symbol_full   ATMs are not available in Skoulikaria. You should make sure you have the money you need for the first three days of the project before your trip from Arta to Skoulikaria. On the 4th day participants will travel to the city of Arta where they can draw money.

Reimbursement Information

In order to get your reimbursement, please pay attention to the following procedure. Remember to use the cheapest solution for any kind of travel. First of all, keep all the tickets you get in order to prove your expenses (bus tickets, train tickets, electronic flight tickets, travel agency reservations etc.) Second, keep all your flight boarding passes (round-trip flights) If you check-in on-line for the return, please print the return boarding passes also. If not, please keep the return boarding passes and send them to us after the return in your country.

We cannot reimburse you if we do not receive the details and proofs of your expenses.

During the training course we will ask you to provide hard copies, please bring them with you:

  • All tickets, receipts and reservations that proves the amount you have spent
  • Round-trip flight boarding passes
  • IBAN (number of your bank account) and the name of the account holder
  • Photocopy of your ID card or passport

The training course will be held in a hotel that does not have accessibility to printer or photocopy machines so we will not be able to print for you. Therefore, it is important that you bring the hard copies with you! The reimbursement will be done only after having received all the boarding passes and train/bus tickets (outbound and return journey).
